Now you can all be members of Famille Rue! A new short sleeve option is in as well in the form of this "vintage" blue t-shirt. It's very soft!

I was browsing through youtube for Ne-Yo songs and this song caught my first attention.
Titled Miss Independence. Watching the video I realised that I can never be the type of girls that Ne-Yo like (in the video anyway). Many might see me as independent, you know, travelling everywhere all by myself, depending on no one. But I'm really just a girl who can get really clingy to her boyfriend. Like really clingy.
Which was ironic because I grew up always thinking that I was going to grow into a independent career woman with a successful business/job despite my mom's constant advice that being a career woman is a difficult path to take.
But I guess that's what songs do to you. They evoke emotions and stir thoughts in you. Some might say that modern songs advocate... er... certain indecent thoughts (I'm not supposed to mention the S word here), such as this song below.
"She makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up Just one touch"
I disagree. I love how the song was written. And the way Ne-Yo sang it was not only provocative (in a good way, I suppose), it was really moving, as if you can feel how the writer of the song wants you to feel.
Anyway, I'm stirring away from my main point of this post. Some songs make me that way you know.
Now that you heard the songs, and know that you've heard it before (almost from everywhere), Ne-Yo is coming to perform LIVE in KL, part of his Year of the Gentleman Tour) on the 7th January 2010 at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach at 8pm. You can find the promo page here.
Basically, if you're an Xpax user, you can reload your prepaid credit of RM50 and get the ticket to the concert that is priced at RM140 for RM90. (Means the credit is basically FREE).
Type and send REGNEYO to 28881 (and then reload RM50).
If you're interested in getting better seats. Here are the ticket tiers and their respective pricings.
Zone RM140, Phlow Zone RM170, Phuture Zone RM260
I hope he sings Closer then. The song you'll definitely hear in every single techno filled disco or club night out.
It's the type of song you can dance your heart out alone at home. Definitely the song to dance to in a concert.
"I just can't stop. I just can't stop..."
Sigh. Too bad I'll still be in England (probably on the plane back to Malaysia) that day.

I am signing off until after Christmas (and the week between Christmas and New Years may be spotty, depending upon how much fun we’re having playing outside in the snow/sleet/rain).
I hope that you, and your families, have a wonderful holiday time together.

You know you're bored when you start shading in the squares of your notebook. Apparently it's a habit that could be helping you to concentrate. In a neat little experiment, Jackie Andrade asked forty participants to listen to a monotone two and a half minute phone message about arrangements for a party. They were told the message would be dull, that there was no need to memorise it, but that they should write down the names of the people who would be able to attend the party. Crucially, half the participants were also told to 'doodle' as they listened, by shading in the squares and circles of their note-paper.
Afterwards, the doodlers had noted fractionally more of the correct names (7.8 on average vs. 7.1 - a statistically significant difference). What's more, moments later, the doodlers also excelled in a surprise memory test of the guests' names and the places mentioned in the message, recalling 29 per cent more details than the non-doodlers.
Andrade said more research is obviously needed to find out how doodling helps us maintain our attention. However, her theory is that by using up slightly more mental resources, doodling helps prevent the mind from wandering off the boring primary task into daydream land. This study is part of an emerging recognition in psychology that secondary tasks aren't always a distraction from primary tasks, but can sometimes actually be beneficial. _________________________________

Bangkok was as beautiful as it has ever been every single time I visit.
And to do something about my short fringe, I've improvised by the time I hit Bangkok.
Have to get ready for my favourite city. ;)
I curled my hair up to the fringe level on both sides of my hair. So to obtain a sort of Japanese cutish style. I know, it's so not me. But it worked. ;)
Paired with my favourite necklace.
Le meow~
We spent the first day scouring through platinum mall and spent a bomb on every thing cheap and nice we could find. It's was a shopping spree+trip for us that comes twice a year.
(The next one is boxing day in London coming this 26thth Dec. :D)
We stayed over at a fancy new boutique hotel in town situated near everywhere, accessible by metro or taxi.
I like the rooms. They're clean and nice. I had a good rate from a friend. ;)
I ended up looking quite Thai-ish (or Japan-ish, whichever you prefer) with all my new accessories and clothes. Which I wore out for a dinner for two the following day.
Love my rings! Cost RM70 (700+ baht) I think?
A chance to camwhore.
I also brought my second baby on this trip: Brownie.
Isn't she the cutest?!
This is me pretending to be emo-ish.
Went to Cabbages and Condom for lunch. Wanted to go there for dinner the night before but we got stuck in a jam and by the time we arrived, it was already closed. :(
Well, lunch is fine. Just not as pretty as dinner.
Playing with itouch while waiting for food.
The restaurant has everything condom-ish, including a condom filled santa.
"Ripped the innocence off that children's mythical human!!" Roar~
Oh look, I'm a condom head.
Haha. I humour myself.
On your way out, don't forget to grab a condom or two as souveniers (*cough* yea.. right).
Craving for some local dessert, we stopped by an ice cream vendor that I knew sold really nice coconut ice creams at 10baht per cup.
I spotted it once on one of my previous trips and tried it and loved it.
Where in the world can you still find yummy RM1 ice cream. I was a happy person.
