LondonJazz's Prize Draw 3rd August

If you - and the people you care about -  are not yet signed up to the LondonJazz weekly newsletter, you, and they, are missing a lot at the moment. Last week we had, courtesy of Ronnie Scott's, no fewer than THREE prizes of tickets for the BritJazz Festival - here's the programme.

This week there's a choice of two prize draws:

- An astonishing live encounter of two unbelievably resourceful musicians: Cleveland Watkiss meets Mercury Prize -shortlisted Gwilym Simcock at the Pheasantry in the Kings Road this Saturday, courtesy of Samuel Joseph Entertainments.

- Or, courtesy of ECM records, we're offering a copy of a much talked-about album. Chris Parker's review of Mathias Eick's Skala  is in our top three most read CD reviews of the year. Chris called the album "attractive, immediately appealing." Enter the prize draw, and, if you win, find out for yourself.
