Remodel

You cannot do a new thing until the old one is passed away. We're in the middle of a remodeling project and I can see how it would be easy to get discouraged, especially when I look at the mess -- right now it's a pile of rubble in the middle of my living room! But if we focus on the end result and press forward, keeping our eye on what lies ahead, then I think we can make it.

In the same way, I believe God is shaking us up. I think He's working on the perfect remodel, molding us into the image of Christ. It's messy. It takes time and there is certainly a lot of dust and dirt, and even some uncertainty.

But take heart and be of good cheer, because out of the ashes (and dust and debris) we will rise! There is NO ONE like OUR GOD!
